The Gravel Rake Company
Our client creates handmade gravel rakes. We are tasked with creating a website, creating a brand, generating correct messaging around the product to trade and retail customers, examples of how the rake works and its benefits and finally ongoing social media strategies to help grow sales of the product. In terms of events, we approached Lord March at Goodwood Estate and we are delighted and proud to be used to prepare the gravel on the estate for major events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This was written about in the mainstream press and across social media.
After investigating historical sales, we were delighted to find a Lord Bamford of JCB was a proud owner and user of The Gravel Rake. Because of this, we approached Lord Bamford and asked whether his development team would consider designing an injection molded version of the rake with a view to making it more stylish, reducing the production cost and making it more desirable to the trade. The client said, “If you can sell more than 30 rakes per month, I will give you half of my business”. Frankie Dettori MBE
Our client manages the legendary flat race jockey Frankie Dettori MBE, we are tasked with raising his following and engagement on social media channels, specifically Instagram. We will shortly be helping promote the feature film of his life globally. Initial results are extremely encouraging, with an average of 1000 new followers each week on Instagram and importantly engagement levels ranging from around 4% to nearer 30%. Frankie is regularly interviewed on ITV racing and as a result of our work, has been asked to write a column in the famous London Evening Standard. Additionally, we have been able to broker deals with Sporting Index and the Italian Tourist Board.
Juggling King RUm
What started as a slightly drunken idea four years ago, has now turned into an international alcohol brand. The Juggling King Rum Company was born over a few beers, and what seemed like a crazy idea, has turned into a successful company. We were tasked with creating a brand name, a logo, helping design a bottle and stopper, building a website, creating social media accounts and strategies, creating copy for press and social media, opening opportunities on main stream media (James Martin’s Saturday Morning, BBC Radio, Guernsey Chamber of Commerce, Conde Nast, Tatler) and then opening trade & retail opportunities and creating a public fundraise (Seedrs – £450K).
At the time of writing, the brand is about to launch a second product, gain additional funding for expansion and is busy growing its own cane on the beautiful island of Guernsey.
